Golden Eagle Viewing Field Trips @ National Eagle Center
Feb 2 @ 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Attendees travel by coach bus with our expert naturalists to bald and golden eagle viewing hot spots in and around the Mississippi River valley. You can view these majestic birds in the wild while learning about their habitat, behavior, and tips for identifying them on your own. Plus, you never know what other wildlife we may see along the way! Minimal walking is required and photography is highly encouraged. Trips begin at 1pm with brief introductions at the Center and return to the Center around 4:30pm for light refreshments. Field trips are geared for older children and adults.

Candlelight Ski/Snowshoe @ Black River State Forest
Feb 2 @ 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

1.5-mile ski trail and 1-mile snowshoe/hike trail. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments by the bonfire.

YMCA Winter Walk Run Series @ R.W. Houser Family YMCA

The Winter Walk Run Series is made up of three events: Jingle Bell, New Year’s Resolution, and Valentine’s Heart Throb. Each race is the same course to allow participants to work on improving their times over the course of the three months. 100% of event proceeds directly support the Y’s Annual Campaign, which benefits the community by providing opportunities for youth and adults to achieve so much more. All series registrants will be entered for the chance to win one of two $50 gift cards from River Trail Cycles!
